Welcome to the Anna District Historical Society
ABOUT THE ADHS
The Anna District Historical Society was founded in 2009. We met in the Village council chambers while storing our collection of artifacts and documents in the basement of the US Bank branch.
In 2015, after a period of investigating a permanent home for the group, a local resident, Linda
Glessner, offered to donate a house she would purchase for the use of the society. This home,
now called the Packer Historical Center. It has been renovated and will serve as our home for the
foreseeable future.
The mission of the ADHS is to preserve the history of the Anna School District area, including
Anna, McCartyville, Kettlersville, and Swanders areas.
